Rose treats the heart chakra, is an antacid and anti-inflammatory for the GI tract. Almonds are sattvic, nourish ojas, and pacify pitta. The skins are slight acidic and must be peeled. The astringent quality of rose helps to balance the kapha provoking quality of almonds.
