Lemon Curd Stuffed French Toast with Raspberry Coulis

<= Previous | Get Recipe | Next =>

Tangy lemon curd, slightly sour & fruity raspberry coulis contrast with the sweetness of french toast. To "stuff" french toast use two slices of bread and put the stuffing between them. Use vanilla extract in the egg mixes when soaking the slices.

Ayurveda Notes (help)
Lemon provokes pitta. Fruits with grains (wheat flour in this case) are generally considered a bad food combination however delicious and tasty.

Dosha: Vata+ Pitta+ Kapha+
Quality: Heavy, Heating, Soft
Taste: Sweet, Sour

Where can I find the recipe for this?? I can't wait to make it, as I ate something similar in Whitefish, Montana at a resturant called LouLa's. It was fabulous!
