Orchid butters. Close your eyes. The vision arrives like a prayer, like the beige wings of an archangel and a single drop of nectar in ghee. A sweet, syrup-ey, divine flower infused in boiled butter. Roast it as the title suggest to reveal a nutty aroma, or keep it divine.

Ayurveda Notes (help)
Sweet vanilla aggravates kapha. My five senses tell me vanilla is an aphrodesiac and rasayana. Ghee builds ojas; by analysis of gunas roasted butter should also (as long as it's not burnt). Is vanilla tamasic?
Dosha: Vata- Pitta- Kapha+
Quality: Heavy, Soft, Cooling, Oily, Subtle
Taste: Sweet, Pungent
Cooking Hints (Click here for Cooking Poetry)
Use vanilla beans not extract. Fats pull out constituents that alcohol based extracts can't.
