Structure of the WeekendWe will convene at 12pm on Friday, October 24th for a light welcome lunch at the Asheville Movement Center (Click here for a map). Lunch will be followed by lectures and yoga until 6pm in the evening. Lectures will include exercises and group discussion to explore how the topic applies to you. You'll also sample food which complements the lecture topics and journaling exercises to facilitate your personal discovery process. We will discuss the results of your observations together as a group. Saturday and Sunday will begin with lectures and yoga in the morning before lunch, and then will continue with lectures and yoga in the afternoon. You will have the evenings off to explore Asheville and spend time with loved ones. Each evening, there will be a suggested healthy dinner venue where anyone who wants can share a meal with the group, John, and Joyful Belly staff members. About the Course InstructorJohn Immel is the founder of leading Ayurvedic dieting website JoyfulBelly.com. He studied Ayurveda under Dr. Vasant Lad and in India. At his clinic in Asheville, North Carolina John coaches clients on the relationship between illness and emotions. John started his career with a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Harvard University. He experienced Ayurveda for the first time while working on public health and service projects in South Asia and the Middle East.
