Dandelion greens are Kapha pacifying. They are a cholegogue meaning they stimulate the gall bladder to release bile, lowering cholesterol in the blood. They are also a storng diuretic helping to drain excess water from Kapha. Lemon and black pepper provide heat.

Bring back the bitters! In nature the predominant taste is bitter. Every time you eat bitters you are bringing your body back to nature, the diet we ate in paleolithic times. Not so great for Vata but Kapha pacifying.

Sautee the onions,raisins and then the garlic. Blanch the greens with the sea salt, drain out excess water, and shred. Stir in the lemon juice, salt and pepper and garnish with herbs.
