Draksha is red wine that is infused with herbs that can help keep a person warm and cozy during the wintertime.
Wine is a diaphoretic and a cholagogue, which can help you in the winter when your body is trying to metabolize excess fats. Red wine is warming and relaxes your nerves, while white wine is light and more stimulating. Ayurveda recommends only drinking a medicinal amount of wine, which is about a tablespoon or two, because alcohol is also toxic to the body.
