Written by Perhaps the greatest message of Christmas is the certainty that we are not alone. One of my favorite names for the Christ child is Emmanuel, which means "God is with us." The message of Christmas is that our Creator is not far away or distant, but right here, a person who is with us. So often we are told our humanity is nothing more than atoms bouncing off of each other, to not to believe in true love. that even love is just a hormone. With divine efficiency, Christmas reaches out to the most hardened cynic and declares, "Like this baby, you too were loved into being." Merry Christmas everyone!

About the Author John Immel, the founder of Joyful Belly, teaches people how to have a healthy diet and lifestyle with Ayurveda biocharacteristics.
