In Ayurveda, dinacharya means daily routine. It is those things you do each and every morning that adds some structure and stability to your day. For most of us, we may already drink some tea or coffee every morning religiously. But, Ayurveda recommends that we do several things to start our day off on the right foot.
One thing you can start doing each morning is chewing on some sesame seeds. Sesame seeds are a good source of natural calcium and are considered highly sattvic, or pure, in Ayurveda. Chewing on a few seeds every morning improves the strength of the teeth and can be helpful if you have receding gums.
