The Practitioner's Path: A Year of Ayurvedic Mentorship & Practice Development |
YOU GRADUATED. NOW LET'S BUILD YOUR PRACTICE.
Move from knowing Ayurveda to confidently practicing it — and build a career around the work you're here to do.
The Joyful Belly Graduate Mentorship Program is a year-long professional development experience designed to help Ayurvedic graduates move from education into practice — with greater clinical confidence, clarity about their unique path, and the practical skills to build a sustainable Ayurvedic practice that's uniquely yours.
Led by Jeremy Anderson, senior Ayurvedic professor at Joyful Belly, this high-touch mentorship brings together clinical mentorship, practitioner development, business guidance, accountability, and community.
You don't have to become someone else's version of a successful Ayurvedic practitioner.
This mentorship helps you build from your own strengths.
You'll learn proven business and marketing principles while developing the clinical confidence, professional identity, and self-awareness necessary to apply them in a way that fits you.
The goal isn't simply to create a business.
It's to cultivate a practitioner who can sustain it.
There are plenty of programs that teach you how to build a particular business model.
This program starts somewhere different:
You.
We build from your strengths, because there is no single right way to build an Ayurvedic practice.
One practitioner may want a thriving private practice. Another may want to develop a specialty clinic around a particular area of health.
Another may want to teach workshops, lead retreats, work with corporations, create a cooking program, develop online courses, or build a community membership.
Your practice should reflect your strengths, your interests, your values, your life, and the people you are uniquely equipped to serve.
We're not going to put you into a business template.
Our mission is to discover and build your vision — and give you the structure, skills, and support to bring it to life.
Rather than trying to figure everything out at once, you'll develop your practice progressively throughout the year.
A consistent group space for teaching, coaching, questions, troubleshooting, clinical discussion, and community.
A dedicated, private 30-minute conversation with Jeremy each month to address your individual goals, challenges, and next steps.
Structured exercises, workbook materials, handouts, and resources to help you move from ideas into action.
Accountability partners and small-group opportunities help you stay engaged, focused, and moving forward.
Build relationships with other Ayurvedic practitioners who are navigating the same transition from graduate to professional.

Over the course of the year, we'll move through five interconnected areas of professional development.
Who am I as an Ayurvedic practitioner?
Develop your professional identity, clarify your values and strengths, discover your unique voice, and identify the populations and problems you are most passionate about serving.
What am I uniquely here to provide?
Turn your passion for health into clear, meaningful services, programs, workshops, or other offerings that people can understand and say yes to.
How do I consistently serve people well?
Develop clinical confidence, client communication, professional boundaries, client flow, documentation, and the practical skills required to move from student into practitioner.
How do I build systems that sustain my work?
Develop your pricing, marketing, visibility, enrollment, financial clarity, business systems, client journey, and sustainable rhythms for growing your practice.
How do I continue growing without losing alignment?
Learn to make strategic decisions, collaborate, create opportunities, develop community, refine your direction, and grow into the next level of your professional life.
Throughout the year, we'll work with practical tools and mentorship around:
You won't simply learn what to do.
You'll have support putting it into practice.
You are an Ayurvedic practitioner or graduate who:
The program is open to practitioners who have completed AHC I or equivalent foundational Ayurvedic education and are ready to begin developing their professional practice.
It is also appropriate for students completing advanced Ayurvedic training and graduates of programs such as AHC II, AP, MID, CAH, or equivalent programs from other schools.
This is your year to move from preparing to practice — to actually building it.
And here's the good news: there's no grading. Every tool is optional and exists to support your goals.
Instead of grades, you'll track the milestones that matter to you: developing your confidence, serving clients well, refining your offering, finding your audience, and building a practice that can grow with you.
You'll have mentorship, accountability, and community supporting you every step of the way.
