Hydration Beyond H2O: Surprising Strategies to Fine Tune Fluids |
In this 90-minute workshop, we'll dive into the essentials of water management in your body from a traditional medicine perspective and learn how to recognize and meet your individual needs. Symptoms of dehydration (or overhydration) can be subtle and easily missed! Ayurveda can help us understand our metabolic patterns and make practical, effective adjustments to nurture the body and brain.
Summer is a key time to pay attention to hydration for energy and glowing skin - but also to prevent deeper, systemic dryness as we move into Fall. Dehydration occurs through many pathways of the body, and different strategies are needed to address signs of dryness in the digestive system, blood/lymph, muscles, skin, bones/joints and the nervous system. We'll discover more about the interplay between thirst/hunger, hormones, fluid-regulating organs, and electrolytes, and simple ways to replenish fluids at the cellular level.
Good hydration habits help all functions in the body, including our natural detox pathways. Join us to gain classical Ayurvedic insights into hydration and put them into action through daily diet, herbal and lifestyle practices.
This live workshop will be held online via Zoom, with time for Q&A.
When: Tuesday, June 16th at 8pm ET
Cost: $49 USD / 55 CAD (coupon code for CAD). Whether you're aware of some hydration challenges or curious about where to focus to stay in balance, this workshop offers accessible information you can put into practice, and insights into Ayurveda and metabolic medicine.
