Neuroprotective herbs are able to cross the blood brain barrier and do one or more of the following:

  • Reduce oxidative stress

Stocking-glove neuropathy, aka peripheral neuropathy, is characterized by numbness, tingling, pain or weakness due to damage or dysfunction of the nerves. Patients often describe a feeling of wearing an invisible glove or stocking, which corresponds to a loss of sensation in those areas.

It is easier to prevent many neurodegenerative (Parkinson's Alzheimer's) than cure them.
