AYURVEDIC PERSPECTIVE ON PHOTOSENSITIZING

Causes sensitivity to ultaviolet light - useful in psoriasis and cancers.

Internal consumption of the below foods / herbs causes mild photosensitivity. Vegetable juicing of some of the foods below may be slightly stronger. However, topical application of essential oils of the below herbs can be potent.

Caution: Photosensitive herbs can lead to rapid sunburn. If any irritation occurs with use, cut the dose and duration of exposure in half (or even less). Build up gradually.
