Yes, sour cream would be a great addition to a potato for Vata.
Hi,can you please tell me if i can combine cottage chees with sour creme ,i am vata-pitta,vata in disbalance. Thank you!
Generally speaking both sour cream and cottage cheese are balancing to Vata. It is not recommended to eat them together. It is also ideal for anyone with a Vata imbalance to avoid cold food, so if possible combine these with something warm - even if it's just warming spices like cinnamon.
