Gina's speciality is in women's health-- specifically helping to release emotional and mental stress that dysregulates our physiological systems and our capacity to enjoy life.
Gina's practice and teaching are grounded in mindfulness meditation and an ongoing study of Buddhist Psychology spanning the last 17 years. Her primary teacher, meditation master Thrangu Rinpoche, is based at Vajra Vidya Institute in Sarnath, India. She has also studied with the Dalai Lama, Pema Chodron and other eminent meditation teachers. She has traveled to India and Nepal--the birthplace of Ayurveda, Buddhism and Yoga--and spent time at Anne McIntyre's Herbal and Ayurvedic clinic, in England. Most recently, Anne and Gina collaborated in a writing and research retreat in Dorset, England. They are developing and writing about the Calm Mind, Joyful Heart series of experiential workshops they offer. Over the years, Gina has continued her training with Ayurvedic teachers, Dr. Vasant Lad, Maya Tawari and David Crow.
Gina has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and studied in France, Portugal and Ethiopia.
