Belly breathing is a type of breathing technique where you inhale slowly and deeply, directing the air downwards into your belly. It is also known as abdominal breathing or diaphragmatic breathing. On your inhale, the chest remains relatively still while the belly expands and the diaphragm pushes downward. You'll feel a sensation that your belly is sticking out when you take a breath in.
