How Does This Ayurvedic Herb Supplement Improve Wellness?

CLINICAL AYURVEDIC REVIEW

Liver and Lymph Cleanse Tea is a custom formulation designed to detoxify and fortify the liver while strongly moving lymph and flushing the gallbladder of bile. This strong combination of Ayurvedic herbs is accented with Red Root, a North American herb traditionally used in Native American Medicine to strengthen metabolism and ease the strain on your liver. This formula targets Pitta-Kapha type disorders involving the liver and lymph such as lymphatic congestion, fatty liver, high triglycerides or cholesterol, lipidemia, diabetes, jaundice, edema, etc. Please consult an Ayurvedic Practitioner before using this strong formula.

Metabolic Jumpstart

For those struggling to lose weight, Liver and Lymph Cleanse Tea jumpstarts your metabolism and helps to move stagnant lymphatics that causes water retention. Maybe the weight you want to lose is more water than you think!

Fatty Liver

This combination of bitters, blood movers & fat metabolizing herbs specifically targets the liver, cleansing it of clogging fats. Those with a history of hepatitis, alcohol or drug use, even long term pharmaceutical use can benefit from a liver detox.

Skin Disorders

A toxic, fatty liver combined with sluggish lymph can result in a cascade of skin problems such as chronic fungal infections, hives, allergic and weepy rashes. By detoxifying the liver and lymph systems, Liver and Lymph Cleanse Tea treats the root cause of a number of congestive skin disorders.

Cardiac Support

By stimulating circulation and digesting fatty plaque buildup in the vascular system, Liver and Lymph Cleanse Tea supports your heart health. This vasodilator thins congested blood for improved circulation. Anti-inflammatory herbs calm irritation caused by plaque build-up in the veins and arteries.

Contains: Guduchi, Amalaki / Amla Powder, Bhumyamalaki, Turmeric, Manjistha, Pippali

Metabolic Nature of Liver & Lymph Cleanse Tea

See a complete list of all biocharacteristics.

METABOLIC NATURE

Metabolic Nature

Ayurveda assesses metabolic imbalances through 20 main biocharacteristics (gunas). Aggravating them weakens your body and causes imbalance. By knowing which biocharacteristics are habitually imbalanced in your body, you will be able to identify and correct metabolic imbalances before you get sick. Every biocharacteristic has an opposite which balances it (i.e. hot balances cold). You restore balance by favoring diet and lifestyle choices that increase the opposite biocharacteristic.

TASTES

The 6 Tastes

Taste is used to sense the most basic properties and effects of food. Each taste has a specific medicinal effect on your body. Cravings for food with certain tastes indicate your body is craving specific medicinal results from food. Taste is experienced on the tongue and represents your body's reaction to foods. Sweet taste causes physical satisfaction and attraction whereas bitter taste causes discomfort and aversion. Kapha should use less sweet taste while Vata and Pitta would benefit from using more sweet taste. One of the first signs of illness is that your taste and appetite for food changes. The six tastes are sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, and astringent. Do you crave foods with any of the tastes below?

DOSHAS

The Three Doshas / Body Types

Ayurveda is a metabolic theory of medicine that explains individual health, tendencies, and disease patterns through the concept of doshas, which can be understood as your metabolic patterns and tendencies.

Each dosha reflects a distinct metabolic nature and describes strengths & weaknesses in bodily function, and how these affect energy levels, digestion, susceptibility to disease, and many other tendencies.

Your metabolic nature not only affects your physical characteristics, but also influences your mental thought patterns, confidence, and enthusiasm.

Ayurveda balances these metabolic strengths & weaknesses to support your body's vitality and prevent recurrent disease cycles. This support is a critical aid, especially in chronic or incurable disease conditions.

The 3 metabolic body types (doshas), are Catabolic (Vata), Metabolic (Pitta), and Anabolic (Kapha).

Through dosha, Ayurveda empowers people to identify metabolic imbalances early, break repetitive patterns of disease, and cultivate habits that support long-term vitality and well-being.

Ultimately, these metabolic patterns also provide a framework for understanding yourself, including body, mind, and spiritual tendencies.

“Is this a tea that you infuse into boiled water and then add that water to the aloe vera juice? Or do you mix the herbs directly into the aloe vera juice and drink that?"
“Dear Melanie, If you have the time, steeping the tea in boiling water for 3 minutes before mixing with aloe vera will make it stronger. However, it is also okay to mix the herbs directly with the aloe vera juice. Warm Regards, -John"

“I'd like to try this, but I am usually very sensitive to cleanses (Vata). I just bought the Daffodil tea and Dashamoola powder to help clear my skin, but this cleanse is probably something I need to do. Is this something I can use in conjunction with the other products or would it be used at a separate time. How long should the cleanse be done for? Any other dietary changes that need to be made? Thanks!"
“For sensitive Vata people, we recommend 'Liver Heal Soothing Tonic'. Or, you can mix this drink with almond milk - to balance the nourishing and cleansing properties. You can use it in conjunction with other products, but we generally recommend clients avoid taking more than 3 formulas and supplements at any one time. Generally, you can take this tea for 30 days on, 30 days off."

“My gall bladder has been removed 15 years ago. On and off digestive, skin troubles, food and respiratory allergies. Currently, I am not doing too bad. I have tried a lot of supplements in the past. I want to cut down on supplements, move more towards a clean diet and a few Ayurvedic supplements. As of right now, my biggest physical problem is a chronic pain in my left hip which moves up and down. It is very limiting. I can't bend down or forward, especially on my left side. It limits my yoga practice besides having a chronic pain. I am currently taking seppapeptase for the pain, digestive enzymes with pancreatin and pepsin, triphala and have tried bhumya amlaki, punarnava in the recent past. I feel I am moving without direction. Could you recommend something for digestion and something that helps with the pain and inflammation. Thanks. Rachna "

I have diabetes and my sugar readings have came down 50-70 points and are normal now. I am not as hungry, and the best part, after 1 week I lost 10 lbs. Today is the end of week 2 and down 5 more pounds! I am a Kapha and I lost the bloat that made me look like I was pregnant at age 55!!
