Ayurveda Lifestyle Liver & Lymph Cleanse Tea
Liver and Lymph Cleanse Tea is a custom formulation designed to detoxify and fortify the liver while strongly moving lymph and flushing the gallbladder of bile. This strong combination of Ayurvedic herbs is accented with Red Root, a North American herb traditionally used in Native American Medicine to strengthen metabolism and ease the strain on your liver. This formula targets Pitta-Kapha type disorders involving the liver and lymph such as lymphatic congestion, fatty liver, high triglycerides or cholesterol, lipidemia, diabetes, jaundice, edema, etc. Please consult an Ayurvedic Practitioner before using this strong formula.

Metabolic Jumpstart
For those struggling to lose weight, Liver and Lymph Cleanse Tea jumpstarts your metabolism and helps to move stagnant lymphatics that causes water retention. Maybe the weight you want to lose is more water than you think!

Fatty Liver
This combination of bitters, blood movers & fat metabolizing herbs specifically targets the liver, cleansing it of clogging fats. Those with a history of hepatitis, alcohol or drug use, even long term pharmaceutical use can benefit from a liver detox.

Skin Disorders
A toxic, fatty liver combined with sluggish lymph can result in a cascade of skin problems such as chronic fungal infections, hives, allergic and weepy rashes. By detoxifying the liver and lymph systems, Liver and Lymph Cleanse Tea treats the root cause of a number of congestive skin disorders.

Cardiac Support
By stimulating circulation and digesting fatty plaque buildup in the vascular system, Liver and Lymph Cleanse Tea supports your heart health. This vasodilator thins congested blood for improved circulation. Anti-inflammatory herbs calm irritation caused by plaque build-up in the veins and arteries.

SUGGESTED USE

MEDICINAL QUALITIES

Increases These Qualities (Gunas)

Ayurveda helps you assess how you feel through the 20 main therapeutic feelings or qualities called gunas. Through the gunas you can articulate, experience and develop sensitivity to the signals your body sends you. Imbalanced gunas are the root of your imbalances. Every guna has an opposite which balances is (i.e. hot balances cold). You create balance by favoring diet and lifestyle choices that increase the opposite guna.

TASTES
Digestive Effects Help

The 6 Tastes

Taste has meaning in Ayurveda, and brings physical and emotional changes to your body. Taste is experienced on the tongue and is your body's reaction to foods much in the same way that your emotions are mental reactions to experiences. Sweet taste causes physical satisfaction and attraction whereas bitter taste causes discomfort and aversion. Kapha should use less sweet taste while Vata and Pitta would benefit from using more sweet taste. One of the first signs of illness is that your taste and appetite for food changes. The six tastes are sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, and astringent. Do you crave foods with any of the tastes below? Food and herbs with the following tastes could aggravate your symptoms.

DOSHAS
Digestive Effects Help

The Three Doshas / Body Types

Your body type shows how your strengths, as well as how your body typically goes out of balance. It also shows how your body responds to the environment. Your body type is comprised of certain qualities and affects every part of you - your physical and mental characteristics as well as your personal strengths and weaknesses. This is because your body type is based on how your body uses energy. Ayurveda has 3 body types (doshas), called Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Vata spends energy. Pitta burns energy. Kapha stores energy. Vata people tend to be easily stimulated, hyperactive, underweight and dry. Pitta people tend to be hot, focused, driven, and easily inflamed. Kapha people are heavy, stable and grounded, but if they store too much energy, they could gain weight easily and have congestion.

Is this a tea that you infuse into boiled water and then add that water to the aloe vera juice? Or do you mix the herbs directly into the aloe vera juice and drink that?

- Melanie Brock, Clarks summit, PA, 07-29-12 (Reply)
Dear Melanie, If you have the time, steeping the tea in boiling water for 3 minutes before mixing with aloe vera will make it stronger. However, it is also okay to mix the herbs directly with the aloe vera juice. Warm Regards, -John

How long do you recommend doing a cleanse like this?

- Terri Turner, Bossier , LA, 08-25-12 (Reply)
I really enjoy your products and l love the liver & lymph cleanse. I feel better. I like the packaging and the simple instructions.

- Jane Arie Baldwin, Fort worth, TX, 09-19-12 (Reply)
I'd like to try this, but I am usually very sensitive to cleanses (Vata). I just bought the Daffodil tea and Dashamoola powder to help clear my skin, but this cleanse is probably something I need to do. Is this something I can use in conjunction with the other products or would it be used at a separate time. How long should the cleanse be done for? Any other dietary changes that need to be made? Thanks!

- Geannine, Valley village, CA, 11-27-12 (Reply)
For sensitive Vata people, we recommend 'Liver Heal Soothing Tonic'. Or, you can mix this drink with almond milk - to balance the nourishing and cleansing properties. You can use it in conjunction with other products, but we generally recommend clients avoid taking more than 3 formulas and supplements at any one time. Generally, you can take this tea for 30 days on, 30 days off.

Can you use the liver and gallbladder tonics at the same time?

- Sally, St. louis, MO, 04-15-13 (Reply)
I would start with one, and then switch to the other when finished 1-2 months later.

what are the ingredients of this liver &lymph cleanse tea?

- tuna, Istanbul, 03-11-14 (Reply)
Scroll up a bit and you'll see the ingredients....we put them on every product page! Guduchi, Amalaki, Bhumyamalaki, Turmeric, Red Root, Pippali Enjoy!

- David McKaig, Swannanoa, NC, 03-11-14 (Reply)
My gall bladder has been removed 15 years ago. On and off digestive, skin troubles, food and respiratory allergies. Currently, I am not doing too bad. I have tried a lot of supplements in the past. I want to cut down on supplements, move more towards a clean diet and a few Ayurvedic supplements. As of right now, my biggest physical problem is a chronic pain in my left hip which moves up and down. It is very limiting. I can't bend down or forward, especially on my left side. It limits my yoga practice besides having a chronic pain. I am currently taking seppapeptase for the pain, digestive enzymes with pancreatin and pepsin, triphala and have tried bhumya amlaki, punarnava in the recent past. I feel I am moving without direction. Could you recommend something for digestion and something that helps with the pain and inflammation. Thanks. Rachna

- Pamela S, Brooklyn, NY, 08-21-14 (Reply)
Pam- certainly!

- David McKaig, Swannanoa, NC, 08-21-14 (Reply)
Can I just drink it as a tea, without the aloe vera juice?

- Marilyn Schwartz, Milledgeville, GA, 12-25-14 (Reply)
Hi Marilyn, The aloe isn't necessary, but is certainly a potent addition. Good question!

Does this product have caffeine?? Thank you!!

I am really happy that I bought and am using this tea. I have been surprised at the energy that I have now, as I was feeling very sluggish. I have diabetes and my sugar readings have came down 50-70 points and are normal now. I am not as hungry, and the best part, after 1 week I lost 10 lbs. Today is the end of week 2 and down 5 more pounds! I am a Kapha and I lost the bloat that made me look like I was pregnant at age 55!! I recommend this product if your feeling sluggish and bloated!! :)

- Teva, St. marys, 12-11-16 (Reply)
How long do I drink and how much Aloe Vera juice do you use with the tea

- Sharon, Inver grove heights , 01-08-17 (Reply)
Use about 1 tablespoon of aloe vera juice with the herbal formula. Try taking the formula for 5 days and see how you feel.

- Kimberly Kubicke, Wall, NJ, 01-09-17 (Reply)
Purchased this because my liver enzymes wee elevated for several months. Used with Aloe vera juice as directed for one month and labs were normal when retested. I still feel very tired so I will continue to use for a few months longer. I am very pleased with the result.

- Susan Simonetti, Cocoa beach, FL, 02-15-17 (Reply)
I started usig this 1 week ago, I am vata/pitta, so far I haven`t felt anything yet, but I am pleased with the feeling I have after I take them in the morning.I have a question, if I take them in the morning, leaving them overnight in room temperature water, not hot/boling one, is okay? Should I warm up the mix again before drinking?

- elisa mingo, Coral gables, 02-19-17 (Reply)
It's fine to leave it overnight and take it in the morning. You can warm it up or drink it room temperature.

- Kimberly Kubicke, Wall, NJ, 02-20-17 (Reply)
I never received the tea bag. I have just been putting the powdered herb in a beverage and drinking it. When does this product expire?

- Clarissa, Houston, TX, 10-17-17 (Reply)
Perfect - that's the way to take it. Just add hot water and drink. Once opened, the product should be used within 3 months.
