PREPARATIONTo make cream of rice, put the rice grains into a coffee grinder. Chop ginger and garlic. Fry them in ghee in a medium saucepan. Add 2 c water and bring to a boil. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring. Reduce heat to low and let simmer ten minutes or until rice is soft.
