CLINICAL AYURVEDIC REVIEW
Smooth, luxurious, decadent. Saffron & Rose Whipped Cream is ever-so-lightly sweet, sensuously emitting aromas of exotic saffron and heady rose. Creme-de-la-creme and creme-of-the-crop, the best cream rises to the top! Of all whipped variations familiar and unique, this deceivingly simple recipe leaves others pale in comparison. Melt a dollop into your morning chai and add the perfect finishing touch to your evening dessert. Is there a time of day when Saffron & Rose Whipped Cream isn't the right choice?
Refined, Light DelightWhipped cream is often frowned upon by those trying to keep light and healthy. While it does increase kapha dosha, we at Joyful Belly heartily disagree with the dismissal of whipped cream. Briskly whipped with only a touch of sugar, homemade whipped cream tends to be much more digestable than storebought varieties. Adding aromatic saffron and rose helps your body digest heavy milk proteins by clearing stagnation from the stomach.
Healthy fats nourish the nerves and create a calm, relaxed mind. If you are one who suffers from anxieties or whose mind turns problems over and over again, you may be a candidate for comforting, nourishing Saffron & Rose Whipped Cream.
Balm for the SoulFeeling frustrated, stressed, and impatient? These are signs that your firey pitta sensibilities are being tested. Pittas like everything to be perfect, and nothing comes half as close as Saffron & Rose Whipped Cream. Cool off your fire by indulging in this exquisitely refined balm for your soul. It's creamy texture is pleasing to pitta's love of finery, while rose is a potent tonic for firey hearts. Saffron takes it over the edge by bringing in smooth, grounded tones.

By knowing which characteristics are habitually imbalanced in your body, you will be able to identify and correct imbalances before you get sick.
Every characteristic has an opposite which balances it (i.e. hot balances cold).
You restore balance by favoring diet and lifestyle choices that increase the opposite characteristic.

LEARN MORE ABOUT SWEET | DOSHAS
The Three Doshas / Body Types
According to the biocharacteristic theory of medicine,
people tend to get sick, over and over again, due to habitual causes and imbalances that are unique to the person.
Your body type summarizes this tendency, showing you the 'type' of conditions and imbalances that frequently challenge your health & wellness.
Using body type, you can also identify remedies likely to improve your strength and resiliency.
Your body type identifies physical and mental characteristics as well as your personal strengths and weaknesses.
The calculation of your body type is based on your medical history.
The 3 functional body types
(doshas),
are Catabolic (Vata), Metabolic (Pitta), and Anabolic (Kapha).
Catabolic individuals tend to break down body mass into energy. They are easily stimulated, hyperactive, underweight and dry.
Metabolic individuals tend to burn or use energy. They tend to be rosy-cheeked, easily irritated, focused, driven, and easily inflamed.
Anabolic individuals tend to store energy as body mass. If they store too much energy, they could gain weight easily and have congestion. Anabolic people tend to be stable and grounded.
