How to Make Warming Love Truffle with Chocolate, Cinnamon, Chili & Rose Petals

PREPARATION OF THIS HEALTHY RECIPE

Use 4oz sweetened cacao or 60-70% dark chocolate bar.

  1. Melt chocolate, stirring occasionally
  2. Whisk in other ingredients until smooth
  3. Spread mixture onto a baking sheet with parchment paper, and cool in refrigerator 60-90 minutes.
  4. Scoop and roll into 1 inch balls, or pour into truffle mold.
  5. Roll in date sugar.

Chocolate is a natural vasodilator for female reproductive organs. Sesame builds strength. For Kaphas, enjoy as a hot chocolate tea without tahini.

If taste is not a concern, consider adding 1tsp damiana and 1 tsp fenugreek for stronger hormonal action. Fenugreek is both testosteronic s well as estrogenic - it works for both sexes. Damiana's testosteronic action warms up libido for both sexes.

Note chocolate is not as powerful an aphrodisiac for men. For stronger nourishing of male hormones, substitute ashwagandha for rose petals.

The 6 Tastes

Taste is used to sense the most basic properties and effects of food. Each taste has a specific medicinal effect on your body. Cravings for food with certain tastes indicate your body is craving specific medicinal results from food. Taste is experienced on the tongue and represents your body's reaction to foods. Sweet taste causes physical satisfaction and attraction whereas bitter taste causes discomfort and aversion. Kapha should use less sweet taste while Vata and Pitta would benefit from using more sweet taste. One of the first signs of illness is that your taste and appetite for food changes. The Three Doshas / Body Types

Ayurveda is a metabolic theory of medicine that explains individual health, tendencies, and disease patterns through the concept of doshas, which can be understood as your metabolic patterns and tendencies.
