- 30 ml rosewater
- 14 ml aloe vera gel
- 12 ml St. John's Wort tincture
- 4 ml Lavender essential oil

6. Amazingly, honey does the same. Studies on Manuka honey show it significantly reduces the time it takes for a burn to heal.
7. Or try this: Place a slice of red onion or its crushed pulp onto the burn.
8. Tea tree oil. During her 2nd pregnancy, my wife suffered a kitchen burn that quickly became infected with a spreading red rash of cellulitis. A dangerous condition that sent us immediately to urgent care.
They confirmed the diagnosis and suggested starting a course of antibiotics right away. We decided to give essential oils a 24 hour trial.
Five drops of tea tree oil in a 1 tbsp coconut base eliminated the infection within several hours.
